The soundtrack is an integral part of every film,but little of The Golden Compass’ score has been heard thus far. Here, then is our review of a promotional copy of the score – composed by Alexandre Desplat. Our reviewer, Heather, finds it a little disappointing, noting that too many tracks simply blend into the background. Overall though, she is positive about the soundtrack and considers it “quite charming.” You can read the full review here.

It’s been a long time coming, but today BridgeToTheStars.net was amongst the world’s press to view the finished article – The Golden Compass, in its entirety. Many years and hundreds of millions of dollars in the making, click here to see what we have to think about the film you’re either eagerly looking forward to, or dreading.

Actor Daniel Craig, who is playing Lord Asriel in The Golden Compass was a guest on the BBC’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross talk show yesterday, and despite much of the show being dominated by discussions about Craig’s physique, they did in fact find time to talk about the soon-to-be released movie. Craig revealed, amongst other things, that he had simply called the studio after finishing the books and asked if he could be involved. You can watch the videos here, or just below.
