Nicole Kidman is featured in September’s InStyle coverage of the coming film season for her role as the powerful and glamorous Mrs. Coulter in the Golden Compass. ‘In this lush fantasy, the Oscar winner lives in a parallel universe with talking polar bears and sorceresses. Costume designer Ruth Myers was inspired by Marlene Dietrich and Greta Garbo: “She is the most glamorous woman the world has ever seen,” she says of Kidman’s chic ice queen.’
