Well this should be strange but interesting at the same time. If it ain't too far from where I live I might just go and see it, though I can't imagine how they are gonna recreate daemons, the other worlds etc.

It's near London. Damn, if it was up north I would audition without a doubt (I live in yorkshire, bleh). I'm going to make the journey to go and see it though, methinks.

Annabel – I want to go and see it, too. But I live in Cumbria. Why does nothing interesting like this ever happen in the north?!?!?!
Northern Lights – I don't have any worries about them managing to create daemons / other worlds etc. I saw the original version of the plays at the National Theatre in London (and I went back to see them again when they came back the second year), and they did the daemons as puppets. I know it sounds weird but it worked so well, and it was absolutely AMAZING!
I'd really love to be in this play, but it's TOO FAR AWAY!!! 🙁

I live way north of Newcastle and completely understand wot u guys r saying!
The way some theatres act, it's like the north of england doesn't exist at all. Oh well, they probably wouldn't want a geordie Lyra anyway.

Yeah, i wonder what they'll do 4 the daemons.

Lizzietiffon01: I'd imagine they'd base the production on the National Theatre production, quite a bit, as that's where the script was written for, and the script really lends itself to that kind of production (with puppets for daemons, and that sort of darker fantasy style but with a touch of humour). I'd love to see it, though, but I'm not sure if I'll get to. 🙁
