Comment on News Items

You can now comment on news items here on the site through a splendid comments system which is finally working. Users do not have to be registered to post at the moment – hopefully this will not have to change. You may wish to register (simply by putting in your email and a quick password) to reserve your name however. If you spot any teething technical bugs, do please point them out.

i think this is a fantastic idea, something i not seen before on other websites. makes it so much easier to see other people thoughts rather than trailing thro pages n pages of the forums

    fifth!

  6. Ian says:

If we register our name, which is it that appears in comments? Username or Nickname?

  7. Will says:

'Nickname' doesn't seem to make any difference than I can see – it's your Username that appears, so just duplicate that for nickname I would.

  8. Wytchbabi says:

Hiya fellow fanatics! Hey listen, i REALLY need info on auditions for the movies, could anybody help me out? i hate to put more competition out there, but maybe we could all help each other out?

  9. Wytchbabi says:

    PLEASE??? :crying:

  10. jessica says:

    o dear.

  11. Alewyn says:

  13. krebbe says:

    woo for pointless comments!

  14. Ben says:

As has been said before and in the Frequently Asked Questions on this site – If you want to find out more about working in the film industry (and this includes the HDM movies) you need to monitor trade newspapers and magazines. An example is "Variety".

More specifically though, the NL movie is only in very early pre-production. Casting may not take place in the next 2 years or more. My advice – don't hold your breath.

  15. Alewyn says:

do you seriously think it will take 2 years, though?

  16. jessica says:

if you\'ve been watching the progress over the last three years…

  17. Alewyn says:

true, but i mean, we already got through 1 director, we're on #2, and now we're…also on our 2nd screenwriter…but…maybe…i don't know, just wishful thinking

  18. Wytchbabi says:

Damn. In two years i'll be too old for the part.

  19. Wytchbabi says:

Oh well. Maybe there's still hope!

  20. Alewyn says:

hey Will and Merlyn and everyone actually owning btts, is there going to be a Srafcon 2006?

  21. Will says:

Srafcon this year is being organised by hdm.org. We'll see what they come up with. 🙂

  22. Ian says:

ooo, organised by hdm.org – scary! More to the point, I bet Niall is paranoid with fear 😛

  23. Alewyn says:

hope it's good! last year i had to miss Philip Pullman, how anoying.

  24. Jamie says:

    Philip who?

I missed all of Srafcon last year! It shalt not happen again though.. never again..

  25. Wytchbabi says:

WHAT DO YOU MEAN PHILIP WHO??? :wassat:

  26. goyaveshp says:

So, did someone mention whether casting is over or not for these movies?

  27. The Bard says:

Jamie is clearly taking the piss.
