i read both of them. and i heard about the movie thing, tho i had kinda forgotten. anybody get the early hardback edition, with the little code across the bottom? just curious, cause i noticed the pbk doesn't have it. i guess maybe i can see cameron diaz pulling another charlie's angels-type thing, though with a bit more story/less kung fu. dunno if i can see winona ryder tho. she's the one that was lydia in the live version of beetlejuice, and in little women, yes? just checking

The AF books were pretty good as far a fantasy goes, but definately aimed at younger ages. (Remember the dwarf guy that farts. I'm not really taken by crude humor.) At the back, it says whoever figures out the code on the bottom can get an appearence in the movie. My friend figured it out, even though she didn't really care for the book.

Yea, I have that one. I haven't read the second book yet, unfortunatly. Is it as good as the first?

I heard about the movie about a year ago, and nothing has happened yet.

I don't really think AF compares to the likes of LotR and HDM, and it wouldn't be one of may favourites, none the less, it was a great book, but aimed at the younger kids

I read both. They're okay, but not ones I would want to read again and again. I did like the faeries, though. They were cool. 8)
