AAAAACK!! It's so cool! I love how you drew the legs that are holding on to the wheels...although I don't get it, how do the wheels turn? I'm not sure if I even got that in the book, although I vaguely remember something about them cleaning and greasing their wheels for one another, kinda like a back scratch? I SIMPLY MUST re-read that trilogy!

That's like...exactly how I imagined it. Except for mine were green. XD
I am sorry. I shouldn't have yelled like that. It is kind of grey, and the anatomy is really believable. I was just comparing it to the cute, baby-like one.

gods I hate the submitting thing on this site :P
To this conversation on purple, the colour is a very very grey purple. Yes, blueish purple is the base colour, but it is a grey tone. It stops the colour from looking dead.
And also, it isnt everyone drawing them this colour, its just me.
And to Koni, I imagined that they would hold onto the wheels with a sort of thumb like claw and that the other two would help to stabilise the wheel. If you compare it to a human hand their palms would then be really smooth and frictionless (with very thick skin) so that the wheels could turn against them....if that makes any sense at all :P

i don't see how that is purple... maybe a little, but it just adds more depth to the grey... it looks really good...

Actually, it seems like a blu-purple-grey to me. The color of the ocean in a storm.
