Wow-u're bear girl aren't u? Another amazing drawing! u give animals depth and muscle clarity which is not wot is 2 be sed for me.......This brilliant! u clearly gave them 2 lateral legs in the middle and 1 leg at either end! Only it seems a little long.........A part from that it is beautifully drawn and all most true to my imagination! u' ve even got the 2 protuberances on the end of the nose in ! and the horns! Plus seedpods! great!

You undoubtedly have a talent for drawing animals. I understand that this is your vision, but it looks too much like a donkey for my taste. And aren't the wheels to small? Congratulations, any way- I haven't yet had the courage to tackle a mulefa drawing!

OOOooooooooOOOOoooo..it's so elegant looking! Almost cat like, if that even makes an ounce of sense....I love how you used blue in the shading!!
I love the position of the right middle leg, it's cool...

ENOUGH WITH THE HORNS! Nowhere in the book did it say mulefa had horns! Other than that and the under-sized wheels, it's exactly as I pictured a mulefa.

Um, what horns?...They look like ears to me...

Annernanner, there are many refferences to the mulefa haveing horns in the books. I have posted some quotes (many found by Amy) on one of John2's pictures, but I will repeat them here since you have reached the level of frustration that needs a CAPSLOCK OF DOOM attack.
Amy's quotes:
" "They were roughly the same size as the grazing creatures, but leaner and gray-coloured, with horned heads and short trunks like elephants'."
Later on in the book: "Mulefa couples, for example, on entering marriage, would exchange strips of bright copper which were bent around the base of one of their horns with much the same meaning as a wedding ring." "
My quote:
"...she was also a little anxious, for their horns looked formidably sharp..."
I'm pretty sure that there are others as well, but these seem the most important

Best mulefa yet!

You know what people, Annernanner made a mistake. But it doesn't matter, I'm sure she doesn't need to be told over and over again. Obviously, if you look at the time and date on each of her entries, she looked at one after the other of the mulefa pictures. And then, the entires saying she was wrong are posted days afterwards. So obviously, she thought during that time fragmant, that mulefa did not have horns. but She does not need to be told over and over again that they do.

I realise that I felt inclined to post proof of horns on a couple of pages, but please understand that Annernanner was abusing artists for drawing things that are actually there. Things that she did not notice while she was reading. And it isn't as if she is offering constructive criticism, because that is perfectly fine. It's more the CAPSLOCK EXPLOSIONS of rage against what could be artistic licence.
Carebear: on 09/25/2007
so she forgot a little detail and expressed her feelings about what she thought they should look like, whoopdie doo!
Zoe: on 10/15/2007
Art is about the artist expressing what they see in their head, not about the viewers ripping the artwork apart simply because -they- consider something to be inaccurate. I'm sorry that I've gotten so into this argument but it seems to be a pretty common problem in this gallery, people criticising artistic licence for the sheer hell of it.
