u did the "Lyra hiding" (or other way round) as well? This sketch in my opinion is better than the other one ( not least because it's coloured superbly). i love the way you captured Lyra fierce, savage side, with the bare feet (even if not mentioned in the book-i think- it gives a good effect!) and the contorted face, though she looks like she's pouting with the bulbous parted lips. Lyras leg looks a little awkward, and i thought her hair would be longer but u paid close attention to what she was wearing ( the sleeveless shirt, though i thought she had a tartan skirt?) and she and Pan look really ready 4 action. Not particularly Lyratic 4 me, though i like how u did Pan as a leopard, even though he looks like a cheetah, and the way he's dangerously purring! Excellant!
i did this scene as well! Though i have to admit you pulled it off better than me! Coz my Pan looks neither like a leopard or cheetah, more like a giant dog thing with spots!

AND you remembered the bag with the aletheometer in ! Although i thought it was an oilskin bag?

The colouring is great, I never colour mine because I can't do it, but yours is brill!!! Plus I like the way she is stroking Pan's head, sweet!!

yes my colouring makes it worse but this is good. Very rugged looking. I tend to make things float also but try to get her on the floor.

Lyra looks a lot older than just twelve in this one, I think, but it's still a really great picture!
