Worthplaying have posted three new screenshots from The Golden Compass videogame set to come out alongside the movie this winter. They all show Lyra: balancing on a beam in Trollesund, riding Iorek and escaping across the rooftops from what looks like Mrs Coulter’s flat. I think in the 2nd one Lyra look’s like she’s a four-year-old in her pajamas. With sticks for hands…
It’s only a game though, so I’ll not be too depressed.
Even as games based on movies go, this looks absolutely awful.
They don’t look entirely complete as of yet. They still have a few months to work on it so maybe it’ll improve.

I’m very suspicious of these, the most important problem is that everything is very low-poly (as in not made of many polygons) looks like something that could’ve been made 5-6 years ago.
The textures are really horrible but they could be placeholders, but there’s no way the whole graphics engine could be a work in progress, so it’s not gonna look much better than this.
Decent animation can cover a multitude of sins tho, so I’m still waiting to see it moving.
well .. i dont dare to look at tht close up .. best look at it small … it already looks terrible .. trust me .. the movie ruins the book & the games ruin the movie
