Damn, how fine does that look? 😀 I haven’t even read the book yet! I have to read it now!

  2. Pausert says:

    Is this an international release?

  3. jessia says:

i believe release information still depends on distribution status, but i am so excited this looks sooooo good. good job DEH+co!

  4. Ian says:

As Rik of DEH said to me recently – “It depends on whom we sell it to” – very basically. They’re hoping to premiere in Cannes I believe.

  5. Ben/Hoobits says:

I take it by saying they hope to premiere at Cannes is that it will be in their international market, which is one of the biggest in the world.

The film looks solid. I kept up with the production video blog and was really impressed with what they were doing for their low budget.

The book is a quick, and engaging read, easily translatable to film too.

oh my god!! I love that book! I finished reading it about a month ago!
I had no idea that the movie was coming out this soon!

Really exciting. The name “Butterfly Tattoo” threw me off a little… I started watching the trailer and was like “Oh my! This looks a lot like ‘The White Mercedes,’ guess Pullman’s not as original as I thought he was…”
But then I saw that it was the same story!
    EXCITING!! Should make good film.

  7. Kieran says:

I’m a little disappointed their education program didn’t come to anything because I was due to take part in it, which a real shame because it would have been a great help to me.

It still looks fantastic though, I would have been proud to be involved in it. I hope the Sraffies throw their full support behind when it comes to release time.

  8. Jamie says:

I auditioned for this film, but didn’t get the part, unfortunately. 🙁

  13. Bee says:

well i’m kind of into romance novels at the moment and really want to read this book… problem is my mum has all of a sudden gotten into ‘monitering’ what i read…. will she have a problem with this book? I mean she wouldn’t let me read looking for alibrandi…

  14. Robert says:

The director was brilliant. I was involved as policeman in the scene with the two police cars (in the trailer) – I’m really looking forward to it comming out.
