The Adventures of the New Cut Gang, a pair of Victorian children’s thrillers first published by Philip Pullman in the 90s, have been released in one volume. The New Cut Gang, a ‘motley group of urchins’, solve crime in late Victorian London. The book is available on amazon.co.uk and amazon.com.
The shiny new edition is one of the things discussed in a recent interview with Pullman in the Telegraph, where he also talks about The Book of Dust.
“It is getting closer,†he said. “I think it might be in two volumes and I think one might take place in the time before His Dark Materials and the other might take place afterwards. There you are. That’s more than anybody else knows about it!”
Eee, and the new edition is illustrated by the Horrible Histories illustrator! I love his drawings so very much, how perfect.
I guess two Books of Dust are better than one… Really looking forward to those and the Grimm book!
Is the October contest still coming or is it turning into a November contest? 😉
Lack of October contest has now been rectified, just for you, Balthamos 😉
@Jaya: Great, I’ve already taken part! ^^
