This month’s issue of Cowboys & Indians, a magazine for Western enthusiasts, features an interview with Sam Elliot who plays our very own Lee Scoresby in this season’s release, The Golden Compass. On the opportunity to enter the parallel L-world after a history of playing the traditional Western cowboys, Elliot says, “There were times when I thought, ‘Boy, I’d like to get out of this box.’ I don’t feel that way anymore.” He also discusses working with Nonso Anozie who provided the voice for Lee’s partner in crime Iorek Byrnison on the set.
