Philip Pullman has posted his New Year Message 2006 on his website. In it he again ruminates on the problems of global warming, vowing that from now on he will never travel by plane at all. He promises that the next two years will see a concerted effort on writing The Book of Dust now that he has reached the end of the many talks he has given this past year.
