Sega were at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) this month and have been showing the latest in their development of the videogame to accompany The Golden Compass movie when it arrives this winter. A behind-the-scenes trailer was released – which you can view below – and several new screenshots were made available. They’ve been added to our TGC videogame page, which contains all the information about the game thus far.
Not to… Er… Diminish the importance of this or anything, but… I saw this a few weeks ago.
I hate to say it, but this just looks like another one of those crappy movie spinoff video games. I mean, I don’t think there’s really enough gameworthy material in this movie, at least not on the budget and time that is being given to the developers.
At the end, it showed what platforms it was going to be released on… and i’m glad of the PC (i’m not up to date on gaming platforms lol). I’m gonna have to get it just to be lyra >.
There is also a new trailer as well.

hate that narrarator’s voice SOOOO much!
I agree with Andria, I hate the narrator’s voice (but this fortunately will have nothing to do with the final product), and I am not been too keen on the graphics. However, it is important to remember that graphics aren’t everything, and that in spite of this, it actually looks like it would be fun to play, and may have some original potential. I think anything to be more involved in the story is great, and I love that they are trying their best to share likeness with the concepts of the movie.
Finally, I think the best highlight of this was Pan. He looked amazing! Of everything about this upcoming saga, I am most excited about seeing Pan.

Oh, and did anyone notice the giant war cloud of witches?
OMGRSVP.
That is all I have to say.
