Tai over at X-Realms.net writes: “today I got my hands on something I haven't seen anywhere else yet on the net: six brand new stills from the film, showing Mrs. Coulter prettying up Lyra, Lord Asriel doing his projection at Jordan College, Lyra consulting the alethiometer and more.” Several of the images are larger, uncropped versions of those on the new official site. You can view the photos at X-Realms and they've also been added to the Stills album in our movie images section.

The last pic is weird looking. Everything is awesome, though! Lyra boarding the boat is one of the best I've seen so far. I cannot wait!!!!

Fantastic!!! The one of Lyra boarding…she looks so excited and joyous, and what a fun outfit!! Just darling; a perfect Lyra. Nicole is fabulous as ever; Asriel is steely yet handsome. No complaints here! Just wish we could see what the daemons are up to. 🙂

They all look so good, but is anyone else worried about the lack of daemons in all these pictures?
Well, the daemons are mostly gonna be a combination of various visual FX trickery, which would not be anywhere near ready this far a ahead of the release. Production stills (because yes, that's what these are, not actual frames from the film … except possibly the one with Lyra & Coulter looking intently at each other) almost never have any visual FX in them.
So, no, you shouldn't worry at all about that.
yes, we get so used to them, now it looks weird without them…
they look fab – but in some i think Dakota looks a bit too old – although very Lyra like. And her hair's a bit too long. She looks the part though! She represents Lyra and her thoughts very well. Perfect! 🙂
Ok they're nice shots. Anyone else notice the crew members in the Lyra running up on to the boat shot? Look straight above her head and behind the gyptain. There are two guys in dark blue sweaters… one of them is in shorts… :S The two females to the left and right of lyra look a bit out of place. But the guys in blue look like crew members, the one facing looks like you can see his crew pass! :laughing:
