Dog daemon's! Yay!

The dog daemons look kinda cute. Oh, and what's that at the top of the screen? A hawk? o.o

I think Iorek is on the far left somewhere Iogan. ^^;

I believe those dog daemons are dobermans! Anyhow, they look like real dogs, I'm assuming they're real and not CGI. Good. I was expecting some use of real trained animals.

But they have a somehow different, lighter shade to the soldiers. Why is that? Maybe they're CGI anyway. =o

The lighting is a bit off. I assume they'll fix that up. ;)

i know they're all the same breed of dog but to me they all look EXACTLY the same or close. A daemon is your soul and everyone's soul is different so even if you have a similar personality (and if in lyra's world, the same animal) they should all be different. i know that they are probably going to improve the special effects later on in the movie, but yeah. just giving an opinion.

it bothers me too, the lack of variety...there are so many breed of dogs and i know from experience it's really hard to find people who are exactly the same.

But aimee, what about those Tartar (I think they were Tartar but I don't remember, haven't read the books in a while) guards with their wolf daemons? Every single one of those guards has an identical wolf daemon. Sure, I don't know if each one was a grey or timber wolf but still.

Maybe they tried to do the same thing here because..they're all soldiers! ^^;

Sure, they're all soldiers, but they are people, individuals. Even if they have the same job and the same training, their person experiences and opinions would be differnt and therefor their daemons shouldn't be EXACTLY identical.

Then again, if Trollesund was an important enough place, then maybe they would have an army so strict that they start raising the soldiers at a young age, and influcence them all in the same way. Of course though I'm pretty sure they will edit the CGI later and make them more unique. Stupid disgussion really.

They all really look like the same individual dog. But I could understand if they made it the same breed. It suits the whole militant-type group thing. Even if the possibility of all those men having the same d?ɬ¶mon is debatable.
