this part should be in a diferent room, acording to the books. but ok, i like it. the problem is that i cant see this picture without imagining the harry potter dining room: is so close, both. ok, i know that this dining room here is more glam, and rich, and gold, but still looks like harry. :D

I agree with Reedie. It looks like Harry Potter, but it's smaller and it has a more Church kind of feeling to it.
The sets have stunned me so far and I can't wait to see the daemons!!!

Hehe, It does look so much like Queens College Oxford dining room...

Set = Perfect. The only reason HP Dining Room and this one appear to be similar is the fact that they are both based on the idea of an archaic Collegiate Dining Hall. So of course theyre gonna be similar... they're both based in UK hehe!

Yeah, everyone lay off Isabelle now. She has already said she has changed her mind a little about Dakota and she is entitle to her opinions after all. We can't all think the same, otherwise the world would be a very dull place. I also want to apologise to Isabelle as I gave her some stick about the whole Lyra hating thing some time ago (Repeat: She doesn't hate her any more) so sorry Isabelle. I personally love Dakota, right now, that opinion could change once I have seen her on the big screen but I am confident she can pull it off amazingy!

Yeah i too apologise to you isabelle, you are right Lyra heart everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i just tend to get a bit carried away in a debate. And you obviously, like me, have a passion for these books, and dont want your image ruined. Maybe if you drew the characters how you see them (like fanart) maybe it will help you keep that image, it worked for me and harry potter cause i think they really srewed it up.

the reason the hall looks like the one of Harry Potter is because j.k.rowling has taken ideas from the book. Infact she took a percfic name of a certain professor called professor Trelawney who is played by Emma Thompson in the third HP film. She took the name from the beginning of the first book (northan lights), where there was a man called professor Trelawney.

The daemons will all be added in post production. If you'd ever been on a film set with ANY animals you'd know having a real creature on set for EVERY human character, principal or supporting, would be totally impossible.

I'm not sure how much more helpful it'd be with people in the scene alongside animals, but they don't have to have all the animals in one place at once. In the movie Dr. Doolittle 2 they shot each animal separately and put them all into one scene digitally.

Well yeah, they are trained not to do that. It's just hard when there are a bunch of animals in one place at once and with all of their individual trainers there with them.

It's difficult for wild animals as well even with training. They used the separate filming for the animals in Dr. Doolittle 2. You can't always train animals out of their instincts.

Lol, Nah I was thinking more a mahogany kind of red maybe a bit lighter. My sister is a couple years younger than me and her school allows colours innhair as long as they are not bright blue or something really gaudy like that. She put some red streaks in her hair (she's dark blond) and they were supposed to wash out after a few washes but about a month later she's still got them in!!! XD
