I imagined a more powerful looking Asriel, I mean this is the guy who is supposed to be taking on the Heavens, ripping the Aurora apart an all that, not jumpin off cranes and playin poker :P

its interesting to note that the first person to ever play Asriel on the london stage was Timothy Dalton - also a James Bond... now we have Daniel Craig in the films! Perhaps James bond types are all Asriel (sean Connery as asriel anuone?) possibilities - Lord Asriel = 007.

I actualy think daniel craig is so right for the part! he will make an excellent job of asriel.

So Danial Craig, the actor for James Bond in Casino Royal, would play as the ambitious Lord Asriel. I am intrigued as to how such a character would finish the war between the Kingdom of Heaven and the Republic of Heaven. He is beyond an ordinary human, which is as much I can say for Mrs. Courtlier, Lyra, and Will.

If something turns onto a different angle, a light source would hit it on a different side. So if a light source were right behind his ears, they might be more red. If you've ever put your fingers over a flashlight, you'd see them turn kind of red...
