Good point actually; it doesn't look very stick-based. I'm guessing they have the cloud-pine tucked between their legs, and make the flight more graceful than being tucked along by a broomstick. It's not like there's any physics to any of it. :)

I agree with you about " things are are always much better wen u look at them with your own view". In "Lord of the Rings" I made the mistake of watching the movie before reading the book. Now I can't imagine anything, just the actors in the movie.

It is a brilliant book. My favorite book ever.
