Yes, I remember :) It's corrected int he American edition, I believe, and possibly later prints of the British edition. I'm surprised the scriptwriters haven't named some of the daemons PP left unnamed. I mean the golden monkey must remain eerily nameless and animal, but I expected some names to be manufactured for Ma Costa's daemon etc. Perhaps they thought it'd be too confusing? Probably the reason PP kept them nameless too.

Hm...I always felt that the the unnamed daemons are unnamed because we don't have such a deep insight into them. Mrs Coulter is the exception, of course, and there may be others, but that's just my interpretation.
