On the bigger one you can see the details on Iorek's armour amazingly including what looks like old bloodstains! =D And now I see everyone was right and I was wrong...Pan isn't there afterall. Damn. D:

On the big poster, you can see that pan is in the pocket of her coat.

Um, I don't think it's at all apparent that Pan is in her coat pocket. I mean, I guess it's a little lumpy so you could say that, but I don't think that's what they were going for.

Did you all see the sneak-peak preview on the official site? Because it's amazing! Love this poster,but they edited Dakota too much,she looks like a plastified doll and that wasn't necessary.

I think Pan IS in her pocket because if it is when she is in svalbard then Pan was hiding as a mouse so she would look like a daemon herself to Iofur (or whatever he's called in the film)

i like how its going but i hate the fact that they changed the names of things. like armoured bears to ice bears and the projecter to spirit projector and the silver guillotine to something equally stupid

It looks cool, but i dont think its Iorek, its the other one, cant remember his name without looking, with his armor all crafted nicely, ioreks armor is just metal. + ICE BEARS??? WHAT??? THAT SUCKS armoured bears sound so much cooler...

Erm, Hazmus, they will be called armoured bears for all I know but only by their other name: Pansjerborne.

The official movie teaser poster for The Golden Compass features the fearless Lyra Belacqua, and Iorek Byrnison the ice bear, as they embark on their journey to save her world. The poster measures a full 27 x 40 inches, is double-sided, and was printed on the original print run with all of the posters sent to theaters. All posters are suitable for framing and are rolled, slipped into protective plastic sleeves, and shipped in heavy duty tubes.

They edited the poster WAY too much. Where's Pan?? Iorek is a bit too big. I believe the Harry Potter 4 poster was the same. They edited the people too much and they looked fake. Oh well, call me a complainer. (if that's even how you spell it!!) xD I hear New Line's going to make the Inkheart movie. I loved the book!!^^

Ok, I think Iorek's armour looks very much like I had pictured it in the books. And I love the polar landscape in the background. But I have several criticisms:
1. Iorek is WAY TOO BIG! In the Cannes Trailer, he is standing just next to Lyra and he isn't that big. He should just come below her shoulders. There is a HUGE height difference in this cheesy poster.
2. His mouth is too big
3. Iorek looks very fake. I know he's CGI but at least they made Aslan the lion look much more believeable than this polar bear.
4. The angle of light on Lyra seems unnatural, as though it's in a different direction from the rest of the composition. It looks as though somebody shone a bright light on her (just her) and cut her picture out, and pasted her onto the poster beneath Iorek. Because Iorek's shadow is cast on his right side, she should be covered somewhat by this shadow too. I don;t see why she should be shining so brightly.
5. I'm a little pissed that there is no Pantalaimon, it's as though they're completely ignoring the significance of daemons altogether. The only bloody reference to daemons in this whole franchise is with superficial things - the toys, the game and the website. Not enough daemons in the stills and no reference to them whatsoever in the Cannes Trailer.

(with the exception of a BRIEF shot of Pan transforming and Stelmaria growling)
