What is your weirdest phobia?
For me - public swimming pools. Touching all that wet concrete that a thousand possibly-diseased feet have touched - ugh.

Small dogs. I love big ones, and am not in least scared of Rottweilers or Dobermans, but the little ones! They just give me the creeps. They seem so... wrong, somehow. And I always think they are going to bite my ankles.

When I was very little, I was frigtened to death of my parents' clock radio-it had a glowing red display on it. I have no idea whatsoever why I was scared of it.

I have exactly the same phobia. But with bridges.Cliffs. I'm not afraid of heights, just cliffs... More specifically standing near the edge of one. I always have the intense urge to jump off, and it scares the ~*pineapples*~ out of me.

Morrible: Yes, yes, of course! Oh, You must be Miss Nessarose, the governor's daughter. What a tragically beautiful face you have! *Sees Elphaba, snorts*...And you must be.
Elphaba: I'm the other daughter. Elphaba. I'm beautifully tragic.

Elphaba: So, no matter how shallow and self-absorbed you pretend to be...
Fiyero: Excuse me, there's no pretense here. I happen to be genuinely self-absorbed and deeply shallow.

I feel exactly the same, but it's not really a fear, just disgust. Overgrown rats.
I have a debilitating fear of the dark and of sharks. I won't go down my back stairs or really anywhere that isn't well-lit at night and I'm afraid of sharks even in swimming pools; I have to open my eyes to check. Yes, I'm certifiable.
I'm also terrified of maggots, although I have a legitimate reason for that one.
It could be worse though; at least none of us are geniophobic

And eating ice blocks or anything with unlaquered chopsticks. Wood in mouth...yuck! It makes my flesh crawl!

When I was little, I was afraid that the enamel on my teeth would fall off... also I was scared of something coming out of the toilet if I didn't flush it (because sometimes you don't need to, and I always did anyway.)

I was afraid of my teeth falling out when i was little too! My grandma has dentures and she used to tell me that if i didnt take really good care of my teeth they would fall out and i would have to get some. And the idea frightened me crazily. Just after my two front adult teeth came in, I had a super real dream that they fell out and i hid them. So real that when i woke up i ran to the place that i had hidden them in my dream and freaked out because they werent there. Then i realized that they were still in my mouth and felt very silly.

Not chopsticks in and of themselves. Just the ones that you get in sushi bars to take away. They aren't laquered, and so when you eat with them, you get the taste of wood in your mouth, which makes me feel ill. For the same reason I can't eat icecreams that come on sticks. You're consecotaleophobic-afraid of chopsticks!

I'm fine with critters in general, but when I catch a spider in a glass and let it out outside, I'm always worried it'll attach itself to my foot and bite me.
