Latest Purchase
I just acquired a fairly funky MC Escher poster.
Bought anything interesting lately?

Spent a good £130 getting a broadband router sorted out... Very expensive affair.
I had to buy an ADSL modem/router combined, tons of cabling, and an ethernet card. On top of that, I had to spend ages figuring out how to configure it all.

Cafe mocha at Peaberry's, and my friend had a buy one get one free thing, so it was about $1.35 each

I'm slightly bemused, the last thing I 'bought' was egg and chips from one of the student restaurants with my food card, a card I put money on at the beginning of the year to pay for food on campus. However, the last four times I used it, the amount of money I have left on it has stayed the same, in fact last time he amount had gone up twenty pence, so I thought it would be best if I inquired. When I asked one of the staff he said, 'who cares, I don't, you're in pocket'. I'm wary that this may all backfire on me.

Last thing I bought was a bag of sugar from Alldays at about 10.00 last night. I use so little sugar except when I have a baking fit that I forget when I'm running out
I suppose one day I'll get a digital camera to keep in my handbag for convenience, but I like working with film and I'm sticking with it until the last roll of Velvia comes off the production line.
This is the camera I call The Toy.
And this is my pride and joy, except that mine is matt black and I couldn't find a picture of a matt black FG - apparently they're quite sought-after. I love my Nikon even if it is over twenty years old and I have to risk straining my thumb to wind on the film, and set the shutter speed and aperture manually! The picture doesn't show the big bag of goodies - long and short lenses, flash unit, motor drive - that I have to go with it!
