Ok, we mentioned possibly sending a letter to pullman in the future asking him some of the questions that have come up here. I'll post a list of what I remember, and if you want to, you can add to it.
- How come John Parry's daemon became visible to him when he entered Lyra's world, but Will's daemon did not?
- If the Many Worlds theory was true in the books, would there have been a parallel Will and Lyra who did not choose to sacrifice their love for the good of everyone? If this was the case, does that Will and Lyra cancel out the ones in the books?
- We're all enjoying speculating about what the movie version of HDM will be like. You've said that you want nothing to do with it, but what less significant scene or character would you really miss if the editors removed it from the final cut?
- You've been called the most dangerous author in Britain by some who think your views on religion do not belong in a children's book. How do you react to that?
- So many of us live in the US, and are becoming increasingly envious of our friends in the UK, since they are all talking about how you've come to their towns on promotional tours. Do you ever plan to come to the US (or elsewhere, for that matter) on tour?
- Besides the Book of Dust (which we figure would be pointless to ask about, since you probably won't tell us anyting we don't already know) what are you working on?
- Of all the characters in the trilogy, who do you think most resembles yourself?
- How do you feel about fanfiction or fanart based upon your books?
That's all I can think of. Post your ideas, then we can all decide on ten questions (more than that would be too much, I think), and I'll write up the letter, post it here, you can all approve it (if you like it) and then I'll send it.

I know you sort of asked him about the movie in the question about what character he would miss most if they were cut out, but maybe you could ask him if he would be dissapointed if the movie completely screwed up the storyline and if he might be worried about people that hadn't read the books yet judging the book by the movie and hating it.
