i was in chapters (a big box type of bookstore in canada) looking for the little blue book and i came across this in the children's section:

it came out in november 2007, i guess incredibly quietly... (interestingly, chapters lists it for 7-9 y.o. while amazon lists it for 9-12 y.o.)

From the Publisher
Unexplained disappearances, daring thefts, perplexing mysteries, and the greatest sleuths of all time combine in this page-turning read. From Sherlock Holmes to Hercule Poirot, famous detectives puzzle their way through a maze of alibis and motives in this superb selection of classic and contemporary crime fiction.

of his beloved arises? doesn't his secret insight
into her pure features come from the pure constellations?"

Off-topic but... I read the title as "woo donuts" at a glance. That'd be an awesome book.
So tell me now, o tell me this: a forest’s son, a river’s daughter, a willow wand, a will-o-wisp.

You're not the only one! :P Well, I was more reading it as 'who donut', actually, but close enough.

Looks interesting, though.

I saw this book recently - Helen's sister owns one. But I didn't comment on it here as I thought that it was probably out of date news. Does look interesting though...

nor did we post any news about it. it must have gotten lost (or was under publicized) because of the film hype.

I suspect it's not really mentioned anywhere because it's part of a larger collection and won't have been mentioned individually. Do you fancy posting something? Should I email asking for a review copy or a couple for give-away?
