I resent the fact that you don't appear to understand how currency works.

Well, maybe Australia should just join in on the Euro (as Britain should as well)
(We need countries with a 'stable' economy or the currency will be dead in 10 years.)

I didn't think it was very good prose. I think the plot was very neat, very astutely set up (if there were one or two minor holes) but it all felt a little too much like he'd had a good idea and he wasn't sure how to execute it. I liked the characters, though, and the various fatalistic coincidences that brought them together, and it made for an interesting web to watch.

The "Dad" at the end was a little cheesy though.

I joined this forum shortly after turning 17, and for several years was liable to be
any combination of angry, self-righteous, naive, uninformed, curt and belligerent.
Luckily this teenage attitude is only occasionally evident in my posts - but where
it is, I apologise, and ask you to read them with the understanding that I am no
longer quite so consumed by any of those characteristics.

I thought this book was pretty good. Did not like the fact that he renamed it as I nearly bought the book twice!

It had a good twist at the end and although not really the kind of genre I read thought it was a rather good tale.

Can anyone one give me an ISBN number or year or publisher for an uncut version of the White Mercedes?
