It kills me not to know this
but I've all but just forgotten
what the color of her eyes were
and her scars or how she got them

As the telling signs of age rain down
a single tear is dropping
through the valleys of an aging face
that this world has forgotten

there is no reconciliation
that will put me in my place
and there is no time like the present
to drink these draining seconds

but seldom do these words ring true when
I'm constantly failing you
like walls that we just can't break through
until we disappear

so tell me now
if this ain't love then how do we get out?
because I don't know

I'm a P90 fan ^^. But I'm impartial to a little sniping. I also have an Attack and defend class, due to my excessive playing of the game mode. I might have to give you a match sometime ;)
Hush, the babies are sleeping, the farmers, the fishers, the tradesmen and pensioners, cobbler, schoolteacher, postman and publican, the undertaker and the fancy woman, drunkard, dressmaker, preacher, policeman, the webfoot cocklewomen and the tidy wives. I got bored of call of duty 4 after my interest in it got whittled down to team deathmatch and i quickly got bored of the same old maps. Still I got a few weeks enjoyment out of it. I might go back to it in a few months if they flesh it out a bit more and get rid of martyrdom. I just play CS:S for my repetitive shooter fix.

My favourite gun was the SAW machine gun I think it's called, always fun to unleash that on a group of enemies.

Have you tried playing Search and Destroy on CoD4 I found its much more fun than team deathmatch and you dont have all the little queers running around with martyrdom and juggernaut

Seriously guys, the homophobic slang is really not welcome on this forum. I know you are not intending to offend anyone and it's just the slang you use but don't bring Xbox LIVE speak here please, thanks.

I have tried search and destroy yes, it is the other game mode that I enjoy but I can only play it so much it's a great game but Counterstrike suits me more in the long run. It's a shame that Infinity Ward will not be handling the next game and it's going back to the WW2 setting but hopefully Treyarch can copy CoD4's online system at least. My bet is that CoD4 will still be played more after CoD5 is released.

Please refrain from using words like that in a negative way. It's not bad to be queer/gay/homosexual.

They're bringing out a game mode in the near future called 'Barebones Team Deathmatch' Which is basically a Team Deathmatch with you, your gun and your skills :) No martydom, no sonic boom, and best of all NO last stand. Just thought I'd let you know. : :D

Yup, while the levelling system is great and some of the perks are funky they did require a completely separate barebones mode for the whole system.

It's still the most popular online game on the system, I don't think anyone thought that it would outlast Halo 3 for this long so I'd like to think they'd keep the support coming. I probably played the game more on P.C though, just got the 360 version to have fun with friends.

Indeed. And on the subject of Call of Duty, how do you think it will fare back in good ol' World War 2? Personally, i'm looking forward to it but most of my mates think it's a bad idea. Any thoughts?

personally i'd like to have seen a vietnam one. opens it all up to a whole new setting and a whole new set of weapons. WWII has been done to death in recent years! if i gotta play another game with a thompson or mp-44 ... ah who am i kidding, i'll be first in line for COD5, it looks awesome.
There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all

Infinity Ward are not making it. I don't like Treyarch. They made CoD3. I didn't like the single player in that at all and I think that I would've prefered a cold war setting or a Veitnam setting were you get to play both sides.

Fair enough, but remember that Treyarch are using IW's CoD4 Engine and most of the gameplay is set in a Vietnam like setting. So think CoD4, different clothes, new features. One of those features being co-op play, which SHOULD be brilliant. And yes I agree with you the story mode is terrible in CoD3, especially the last level. Anyway, they wouldn't go back to it if they knew they couldn't make money out of it, so they must have something big in store. Hopefully.

Treyarch:

* Die by the Sword (1998)
* Die by the Sword: Limb from Limb (1998) (Expansion Pack)
* Triple Play 2000 (1999)
* Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm (2000)
* Max Steel (2000)
* Triple Play 2001 (2000)
* NHL 2K2 (2001)
* Triple Play Baseball (2001)
* Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer (2002)
* Minority Report: Everybody Runs (2002)
* Spider-Man (2002)
* NHL 2K3 (2002)
* Call of Duty: United Offensive (2004)
* Spider-Man 2 (2004)
* Call of Duty 2: Big Red One (2005)
* Ultimate Spider-Man (2005)
* Call of Duty 3 (2006)
* Spider-Man 3 (2007)

With Call of Duty they have been given a big franchise and a next gen engine they didn't have to develop themselves (They can probably copy and paste the online system too with some bells and whistles). They are one of the most unworthy developers in the business. For me the goodness in Call of Duty 4 was derived from the excellent set pieces and the way the story was told. I cannot for the life of me think that Treyarch will get anywhere near the Nuclear Explosion scene which has been one of the most stand out moments for me this generation.

On a positive note Activision confirmed today that Infinity Ward's CoD6 will be released next year.

So I will keep my expectations extremely low and maybe I'll get pleasantly suprised.

Thats usually the best way to handle things like this because even if it sucks at least your not let down.

You've made a good point there. Plus after looking at the IGN post about their hands-on experience, it didn't sound too impressive. I'm going to keep my expectations at the CoD3 level (so extremely low :lol: ) and hopefully we'll get something along the lines of CoD4. And you never know, there WERE several Atomic bombings during WW2 and since it's based around the pacific assault, maybe they can do something... just maybe.
