Yes, it's a shame they don't match up to Savage Garden's high standards.

I don't remember posting that. I was ~*iguana*~' twisted. I think it's a remark that I don't like soad. Gave them a listen but did nothing for me.

nay, methinks there are much better songs on that album.. Bellamy himself referred to it as "cheap". :P

well if anyone hasn't heard the new songs they were playing they can be downloaded here. Apart from that, all is pretty much quiet in the world of muse.. just waiting.. like we are for Pullman :?

Edit: The song summary is about half way down the linked page.

I've only ever listened to absolution, but it rocks.

Should I invest in the others?

Yes you should. Immediately. :) (not necessarily Hullabaloo but if you've never heard them live you might think about d/l or buying it.)

<Mighty Drum Roll>

And the new album is called...

Black Holes and Revelations

I likes it a lot. Makes me think they might have some songs similar to the wacky spacey Origin of Symmetry catalogue.

'Confirmed' track titles according to Wikipedia;

1. Take A Bow
2. Starlight (3:59)
3. Supermassive Black Hole (3:32)
4. Map of the Problematique
5. A Soldier's Poem (2:12)
6. Invincible (5:20)
7. Assassin
8. Exo-Politics
9. City Of Delusion
10. Hoodoo
11. Knights Of Cydonia (5:50)

Exo-politics sounds like a good ol' Micro Cuts to me.. and Invincible sounds like the ~*iguana*~ heaviest thing ever. 8) 5 minutes of hot ~*pineapples*~

Apparently, according to some german article, Assassin is the heaviest track on the album. 8)

Eeeedit: Well my bro listened to the album at a journy play back and wrote some notes. Of Assassin he says;

"Assassin: begins like, I ~*pineapples*~ you not, Night Rider."

New album????!!!!! It's about time!!! I absolutely love this band. Hope that the release date is the same here in the States.

Don't understand why this band isn't bigger over here. I admittedly got into them late, when "Time Is Running Out" was played on the alternative stations here a year or more ago. I was blown away by that song and immeidately bought the album, then Absolution. Cannot wait for another album to sweep me away.
I confess. His Dark Materials is only my SECOND favorite book series. LoTR is my number One. So sue me.
