Worst TV Show...ever

Postby Claudia Vice » Sun Jan 02, 2005 4:40 am

I feel like starting a random topic......so, what do you consider to be the worst TV show ever? I'm not talking a stupid show, more like one that's so ridiculously awful you can mock it for hours.

Please note where and why you watched it...because that makes it so much more interesting...

I'm not much of a man by the light of day
But by night I'm one hell of a lover"

"NO! COME BACK! I need that shoe to get pregnant!!"
- the Baker's Wife (Into the Woods)

I thought channel 5 would be worse

reality tv... commercials (i can't actually say reality tv because i haven't watched any since the second season of survivor... but considering commericals are supposed to promote shows... i really don't want to know).

Naked Keith Chegwin.

Reality telly is vile, looking for the mostly badly behaved character and lauding or villifying them according to the whim of some ~*Orcadian village*~ editor. The only two people in the media whom I want to slap more than Anne Robinson are Richard Dawkins and Pemwish (and I'm not sure in which order of preference).

I think it was ITV.. when I was in England once, I watched this cute little kiddy-DYI show.. Not sure what it was called, something to do with fingers.. Anyway, reminded me of Art Attack, which reminded me of my childhood, which made me like it, etc.

- Big Brother
- Pop Idol / American Idol / Australian Idol

..The latter has infiltrated every part of our culture. The former makes me feel queasy.

Tanya's unlikely to have seen it. Finger Mouse was a different serial, which I remember being repeated at least until the late '90s.

The main reason I watch reality TV is to mock, so I'd have to agree. (personal least favorite: Forever Eden *snickers evilly*)

Ohhh myy Goddd..........someone ELSE has discovered Super Milk Chan?? :[ I think Tom Goes to the Mayor has to be worse..but just barely.

Still, these all don't hold a candle to...The Tribe!!!! It used to be on some obscure Australian channel, I can't believe it actually has serious fans.

Could someone please tell me what ITV is, exactly? Or is it so horrible I'm better off not knowing?

That were on Channel 5, and just looked like Hollyoaks with facepaint.

Family Affairs anyone?
Fingerbobs was good in the fact that it always gave my mum a quiet 20 mins
