i like her expression, but her chest is kinda...pointy (for lack of a better word). i do love the dress though: very loose/flowey w/o being too revealing.

looks a lot like my idea of Serefina, except for the gown.

I think the gown perfect (though i find it hard 2 imagine Serafina in a corset) - along wiv everything bout this pic! So strong, intense, it captures her passionate freedom and status perfectly! The colouring is so vibrant that it doesn't just complement the pic, it flings it at u fully formed! I love her regal stance and rigid pride- shows u the other, warlike side of Serafina. Exactly how i thought she would look (though she looks a bit TOO thin) and everything from her wild eyes to flowers in hair is just right 4 me! The title is spot on too, and i love the added touches such as her clan in the distance and the flaming Auroura- they add so much to the magesty of the drawing. Only a few faults i could moan about: her neck is too long, the arm is placed weirdly on her body and u could have added more areas of shade and tone to her skin. Apart from that, its beautiful!

Thank you all so much! It is'nt actually meant to be a corset but I suppose it does look a bit like one! Yeah I noticed the arm position was wrong but like most of my other pictures on this site, I only noticed once it was too late! Also sorry about the shading (or lack of). Thats one of the things I've never been very good at drawing and I was so pleased with the outcome of this picture that I didn't want to attempt it and risk spoiling it. This one caught my eye. I don't know much about the actual subject matter, but the style of the artwork is very interesting - almost impressionistic. I'd suggest a little more effort with the background, perhaps using some alternative mediums. Clearly, the artist has talent and should benefit from continued effort and study.

It's very lovely. Her gown looks a bit uncomfortable, but she has such a look of determination upon her face. I like it a lot. Good job Chelsea!

Jadis! I knew the pointiness of that dress reminded me of someone! It looks like Jadis' dress in Narnia.
Anyway, this is lovely. Personally, I imagined Serafina with black hair, and the neck's a little long, but overall it's very nice.
