lol! Yes I did base this on Princess Mononoke, which I thought was well suited as they both have the same kind of wild and free spirit. I have started to go back to my Anime/Manga roots (I have loved it ever since I was little!) so you can expect too see some more of my anime/HDM interpretations very soon!

i like everythign about her except for her face. it seems too pretty for ruta skadi. and her cheek is a little bloated other than that, exceptional drawing, one of the best ones for ruta skadi! good job!

Oh my gosh, my immediate thought was Princess Monoke! That's amazing! Ruta Skadi is like Monoke!
Anyway, really nice drawing! I love her wild hair - exactly what I immagined. Although we all have different perceptions of characters, this ones good for me!
