oh denver, some people say my drawing is a bit anime and i never intended that. I never planned on drawing anime. I just liked doodling and my pictures have evolved into that style. If you've got nothing decent or useful to say, don't say anything

It is that i find your 'scrutiny' to not be constructive, but rude and incomprehensibly ill served. What is it, about Anime that so vexes you? It is my thought that you yourself have no talent for anime, and all these comments and dark observations are born out of spite of people who have a talent that you have not yet mastered. It is a shame that you should insult people who you dont even know, and make comments about their work as if you yourself are such a fantastic person. Shame, Shame on you! Show me some of your work, and il show YOU constructive criticism!!

If I do not enjoy anime it would be strange for me to try. I do not draw anime because I do not like the style. That is very simple. Obviously any fool with a pencil can, otherwise millions of eight year olds wouldn't be clogging the internet with their sketches. Why should I be ashamed? Sure it's "art"; but there certainly are levels of skill, aren't there? Very much like Marcel Duchamp's "Fountain". Some see a fountain, others a toilet.

Draw for fun, if you wish- but please don't ask everyone to share the same enthusiasm for anime. It's someone else's invention, and technically, fanfiction is a breach of copyright law. Only by the license holder's good graces does anyone have the ability to use a character's image or a story's concept in their own work. In lieu of this fact, go grow some creativity and stop buying pet store art. It comes from mills, you know.

Why do you come here if u dont like lookin at other peoples art?? ur so stuck up its un believable. And it isnt breach of copyright law, because they are not using anothers characters for profit or gain. Just for harmless fun. If it was a breach of the law, this website would be suspended.

Actually- yes it is a copyright breach. Look it up. People who copy CDs don't necessarily make money off of that, either. Still illegal. Copyright holders put up with it because it's not worth arresting 100 million pre-teens for drawing licensed images. I don't HATE this picture, BTW. Fan art is usually repulsive but some people here actually do have some talent. I just don't like this one. I keep coming back because everyone's over-reactions have been mildly amusing; but I'm finished snickering, so and I'll let you get back to your grovelling. Have a nice day.

the images arn't licensed, because no official images have been released of the characters. And also for instance, this artist has only used the characters first name, when labelling the character. It could be any old Will, it just happens to be placed in this context. However, officially, it hasnt been labelled in breach of the copyright.
