i agree with bb. u're gd at using photoshop to colour images! once agin, i love Lyra's dress, and the way u coloured the mirror! Amazing!!! Thats exactly the dress i thought Mrs Coulter would wear too. Love the painting (it looks very authenitc) and the bookcase, the lamp and its glow and how u've lit things according to the source of light (ie the lamp). The room could have been more detailed, but i suppose that would have made the painting cluttered. Clever to keep it simple. But with the sun setting outside, the room would be lit and shadowed differently. Still, lovely painting: u rock!

Actually I made a pattern of litlle flowers on the wall at first,but it made the drwaing,as you said,cluttered.

I saw the film before i read the books. There is simply no comparison. The books are way better. But had I read the books that is a Mrs Coulter i would imagine. She looks a bit old though.
