Wow, you have a real knack for the computer. Hester has such a look of adoration and to the death commitment on her face...it brings tears to my eyes as I remember that sad scene.however, i think Scoresby was much older than he looks here.

This is one scene that struck a chord. Despite the situation, Lee's heart leaps as Hester touches his cheek, knowing the inevitable is made irrelevant the only thing of any importance is they're together. It's the last bit of affection they'll share and Lee wasn't even expecting it. They're happy because they have each other. that's how I saw it anyway.
