u made me cry wiv anger and sadness all over again! This simple drawin holds such raw emotion that it blows u away! u can so feel the intense passion and luv pan and lyra share! So heart tearing!!! i didn't iomagine lyra exactly like that,but she is so beautifully drawn, and on computer, too. The pic is masterly coloured and pan is so helpless-they both are!
The sharp, bold intense colours add to the emotional power of the scene!
i love it how you've done them nearly touchin hands! So beautifully drawn- u have such talent! i didn't imagine the cages like that, but the effect of how you drew it to look space age is so evil and raw and electric (sorry, anbaric!) The blade is so sharp (duh! Lizzie) and this is so awesome!

this is really off point...but has any one ever noticed how many times it says "passion" in HDM? it gets annoying after awhile.

suppose it does get annoyin after a while, but its put to good use in the text. But its still annoyin.

After reading HDM i started to say passion a lot too!!!!!!!!!!!! even now i always use it to describe things and such!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its a habit i can't lift!!!!! and its all Philip Pullmans fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

its like in all three books to,"passion" this and "passionate" that,you would think he could find some different words? its still a good book though, just a bit annoying.lol

i just can't stop staring at it. is that really the first thing you've done on paint?! it looks EXACTLY like the real thing would. but in pixels! the sadness, desperation, Pan being wrenched away from Lyra by an impossibly calm hand in all its caused emotions...i must go now, i may cry.

LOL! bits like that in the book are the best I'm drawing a few more scenes which stick in my mind - just started playing with Paint in my lunch hour, addicted now. They've put up my picture of Lee Scoresby too but it's great seeing other peoples take on the books and characters. Keep it up everyone!

OMG i gasped when i saw this! i nearly cried too. the pic is so intense you can feel the thing they are going through!(well i guess no-one could feel wat they are going through in real life)

Pan is scaring me

can't figure out if you did this on paint or something else! anyway, it's amazing. I don't normally like computer pictures, but i have changed my mind because of this. repeat:

Nightshade, glittercloud, pan is a wildcat by looks of things. And lizzie brooks, they are being wrenched apart. he probably would be scary. It is a very emotion drawing picture. I am amazed you could do this on something like paint.

You do see the emotion but if you look good, I don't like it that much...

pan is SCARED OUT OF HIS MIND! he is trying to get free by continuously changing forms in TGC
