I love her dress,and the shading you've used,but I don't really like her face. I think her hairline is mucht too high,and she looks...confused,like andrea said. Love the background,anyway,nice details on the mirror!

Yes the hair line is a bit high and I couldnt get that darned monkey to look right! Thankyou for your comments, I find they help me to improve, thanks guys! :)

I actually really like the monkey... He look's very good.. and so does Coulter exept from the hair line...

What kind of medium do you use,actually? Just pencils?

I use 0.7 lead in a mechanical pencil, they come in blue, dark blue, purple, pink, green, yellow and a golden yellow.

oh wow i luv this! the way u use coloured pencils to tone a picture is really original and it really sets this drawing off. u definalty chose the right colours for Mrs Coulter- the orangy/gold/reddy scheme brings out her glamour and danger. You made her look like a old hollywood movie star also, what with the dress and everything, and i thin that really suits her. There's a 30's feel all the way through this picture actually, which is appropriate for her flat and the feel of the scene. This is just great, very fresh, and i absolutely love the way you portrayed her :D

I love the dress! Her heads a bit dis-proportional and her arms is strangely set. but over all it's very nice
