lovely coloring, and i love her inscrutible gaze. The monkey is terrific, very "back-off-i'm evil-" ish. The lamp's shade is good, but it doesn't seem elegant enough for her.

Do you know the musical/opera 'Evita'? One of the songs is called 'Dangerous Jade',about how Evita is climbing up and getting more and more powerful. I liked that title,so I used it for this one.

I love it. It's an incredibly elegant and original look for Mrs. Coulter.

first of all ur pencil colourin rocks! And the title suits mrs coulter perfectly- i thought at first it because of the eyeshadow she was wearing.
lol look at the monkey! he's as hatful and evil looking as i imagined, and i luv the texture u brought to his fur/ her skin and hair through the pencils! The lamp may b a bit dodgy, but i like the rose pattern u gave it- even on the lamp the bold colouring makes such an impact. All in all this is a stunning pic, and u have achieved sumthing rare- bringing out the character's personality so accurately and elegantly that this pic instantly hits u with the essense of Mrs Coulter.

I love ur pic! It is really awesome. but i think that the coat of the monkey could be a little bit shinier but other than that it is beautiful.

"Dangerous Jade," and "Unaware," are my favorite depictions of Mrs. Coulter on this website. Fulyasi's drawings are very close to the way I imagined Mrs. Coulter before I saw the movie. (Though Nicole Kidman did a good job depicting Marisa Coulter in 'The Golden Compass;' the image of Mrs. Coulter in my mind was closer to Joan Collins, circa 1970, as I read the books.) Please do more Coulter drawings. How about Coulter standing next to the Intention Craft?
