daemon Quiz/Test

Postby Tristan » Sat Mar 29, 2003 7:27 pm

I've been working on a test to give you a general idea of your daemon (although of course its best if you ask your friends what they think of you).

Here's what I've got so far- let me know if you think the descriptions are accurate, if the answers to the questions are accurate, if you have another question/daemon species:

1.Cat --> prefers to be alone, sense of superiority
2.Dog --> likes to be told what to do, follower, not leader
3.Hawk -->fierce, agressive, go-getter
4.Leopard -->powerful and commanding, leader
5.Ermine -->peaceful unless provoked, content with life
6.Polecat -->fierce, hateful, angry
7.Fox -->subtle, intelligent, elusive, evasive
8.Snake/Serpent -->subtle, hidden intents
9.Raven -->assertive, resolved, a leader
10.Cheetah -->agressive, powerful, strong, quick thinker
11.Owl -->subtle, reserved, solitary, wise
12.Osprey -->observer, withdrawn, powerful if provoked
13.Lion -->strong, brave, powerful
14.Seagull -->small but fierce, can always find food and company
15.Dolphin -->love for the sea, artistic
16.Lemur -->observer, quick thinker, intelligent, non-agressive

Questions for daemon Test

1. Do you prefer being alone, or being with a group?
alone- cat, hawk, fox, osprey, lemur
group- seagull, dog, lion, leopard

2. How do you react to a difficult situation?
-lash out- cat
-come up with a non-confrontational solution- fox, osprey, lemur, raven
-solve the problem. whatever it takes.- snake, leopard, cheetah, hawk, polecat
-withdraw- owl, dolphin, ermine
-seek advice/help- dog, seagull

3. Are you artistic (or appreciate art)?
-yes- dolphin, lemur, owl
-somewhat- osprey, leopard, raven, ermine, fox, snake
-no.-polecat, hawk, lion, cheetah

4. Where are you (or where would you most want to be) on a Friday night?
-out with friends-seagull, dog, lion, cheetah
-doing an activity you enjoy (like sports)- fox, raven, hawk, leopard
-at home, or somewhere alone- osprey, lemur, ermine, snake, dolphin

5. Talkative or Quiet?
-Talkative- dog, seagull, lion, cheetah
-I voice my opinions, but don't talk just for the sake of it- leopard, dolphin, fox, raven, hawk
-I rarely talk- lemur, osprey, snake, cat

Hmm...how about a "prefers small groups/closest friends" option for number 1? (Personally, I don't think foxes are really all that solitary, and I'm not sure seagulls would prefer to be in a group; they're just competitive)

cool thing...
wouldnt it be better though if it was that you ask a friend to do if for you so it is objective (not biased)?

yeah, but just to give you a general idea... and hopefully it'll be more accurate than some of the other daemon tests out there.

You have put dolphins as solitary.
They live in packs.

Well it is a very small list of animals... more often than not, people in the books had very unique daemons, so I'm sure you'd fit as something else. And probably not a tadpole :D

The general theory is that a daemon could form an animal of any size, but would have a limited scale factor. So if your daemon was a blue whale, it would be much smaller than the actual animal.
