Here's another take on a grand old song. FW sings (beautifully) and I play autoharps and mellotron.

Gosh, what a voice she has. The song is lovely in a timeless yet 'new age' way. Is 'new age' a dirty phrase in music these days? I'm musically challenged.

Hmmm - new age was never exactly fashionable. All those washy synths, lack of musical form and association with fringe therapies. Steve Hillage did it well, but he was a virtuoso guitarist.

The song is, of course, Irish. Here's what the Wiki has to say: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/She_Moved_Through_The_Fair

Accompaniment can be as simple as wedging down the D key.

Wow, FW has a *beautiful* voice. I think that's the best version of that song I've ever heard.

Some of you may not have heard the first version we recorded. This is much more of a production number, whereas the other version is a live demo with overdubs.

FW sings, I make the noises.
