Banjo-Kazooie?

Postby Evermind » Mon Nov 27, 2006 7:12 pm

Anyone remember this game for N64? I was obsessed with it & it's sequel, Banjo-Tooie

I still play those games, I love 'em 8)
Anyone else played them?

(sorry if there is a topic for this, I did check to make sure there wasn't but if I've made a mistake I apologize in advance)

Did I not hear recently that Rare are making a new Banjo Kazooie game for the 360?

Thats the worst news i've heard all day as a die hard nintendo fan...

When we lost Rare it was a dark day, some of the best games i've ever played have been creations of rare..

I shudder to think of what microsoft might do to Banjoe and his feathred companion...

Bought up by Micro$oft, innit. They just developed one of the mere two games Microsoft is publishing this 'holiday season', Viva Pinata - apparently it's Rare's best game in years.

What,.. Zero? I should hope so. As for the N64 game, well, that was made 'years' ago, wasn't it?

It was not such a loss for Nintendo really, after Rare left for MS their quality dropped dramatically and have not recovered until now. Lets see if they can build on Viva Pinata. Which while being good, apparantly it's not zomg amazing but hey it's good to see they can still make a quality game.

*Goes back to Gears of War* 8)

I remember this game. I heard rumors about the 360 version, but I wasn't sure. The original game was amazing.

Unfortunately it wasn't even shown at E3 so I guess it's at least a year away. I'd love to see them back on form so I'm willing to wait. The real shame is that they brought their games to Microsoft. Rare's target audience is not Microsoft's target audience but we'll wait and see I guess.

They were at E3 the previous year, with a trailer.
Hush, the babies are sleeping, the farmers, the fishers, the tradesmen and pensioners, cobbler, schoolteacher, postman and publican, the undertaker and the fancy woman, drunkard, dressmaker, preacher, policeman, the webfoot cocklewomen and the tidy wives. Young girls lie bedded soft or glide in their dreams, with rings and trousseaux, bridesmaided by glowworms down the aisles of the organplaying wood.

This game was just the BEST, Second fave game next to Zelda 64

Never managed to play the second one :(
Donkey Kong 64 was done by rare and it was rather similar to BK, but not as good.

Indeed it wasn't. Looks like an E3 announcement then which most likely means a 2009 release sadly.
