An extra on The Golden Compass<\/i>, Jamie Sutherland<\/a>, has written for us an account of his times at the set. A great fan of the books, Jamie (24) pursued a part in the movie and secured the role of an extra in the Jordan dining room scene, filmed at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich. He recalls, “When I first entered the dining hall, I have to admit I felt a shiver down my spine. I was standing in the world I had imagined and loved.
