Hiya

Postby Lucybird » Wed Feb 09, 2011 3:50 pm

Hi everyone,

My name is Lucy, I'm 24 and I live in Birmingham UK. I adore HDM especially The Northern Lights. I haven't actually read them for a while (mainly due to my addiction to buying new books!) but someone on another forum I visited told me about this one so I thought I would join. :)

There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious—makes you so sick at heart—that you can't take part. You can't even passively take part. And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all

Thanks. The name is what my Dad used to call me when I was little because I was always singing.
Err a little more about me. I'm a nursery nurse, but I have a degree in psychology and want to be an educational psychologist. I love shopping, and reading and eating chocolate, and spending time with my friends and my boyfriend :)
