The Wind On Fire Trilogy (now contains Spoiler for Firesong)
Hi everyone! Besides HDM, another of my favourite trilogies is the wind on fire trilogy by William Nicholson. It is great! I've been looking for some other fan like me, and well, who likes it?
What do you think really happened to Kestrel? Would the story have been better is Bowman had been the Singer instead? Give your opinions.
For those who haven't read it, read it! I mean it! It's just as good as HDM.
These are the books:
The Wind Singer
Slaves of the Mastery
Firesong

you're welcome. don't you think it's weird how not many people say that after someone thanks them?

Maybe you missed the sarcasm in that remark. I'm really pissed. I really wish I hadn't read that. Not EVERYONE wants to the know who that end of the book their reading goes.

and eloquent, I meant isn't it weird that not many people say 'you're welcome' after someone thanks them.

definitely, mist was kinda cute (but don't tell him), but anyway, i found william nicholson's site(!) while looking idly on the net and its at http://www.williamnichoson.co.uk. you can actually ask him questions there! wonderful! fantastic! but the point is, you may like to visit it and click on the 'contact me' button, i think.

Cool
I LOVED those books, they were really great. The first one was a little young/simple but the others were amazing. I really enjoyed reading them!
And my favorite characters are Mist (I have a thing about cats...I liked Mogget in Sabriel aswell), Mumpo was intresting too but I think Sisi is prob my fav character. How she was so ignorant to begin with but then... actually I'll shut up before I give anything away.
