Right please everyone I need all you help! I am doing my courswork at the moment and we all read HDM as a class. And now for coursework we have to write two stories.
1) Will and Lyra reuniting.
How do you think I should do think I should do that?

2) Marisand Asriel. While they were seeing one another when she was married to Edward.
My main question is how many years older than Marisa should Asriel be?

Maris was the partner of Niles Crane, not Asriel Belacqua. You want a Frasier fan site.

Well if this was your set coursework fair enough...the first title, as people have said, maybe misses the point of the ending. PP did leave a bit of a window open for communication between them - Xaphania tells Will especially that with Mary's help he might learn to be a shaman and move between the worlds in spirit. So that might work as a device.

Really though as you can tell by the hostility of the people here to the suggestion it's probably not a great aspect of HDM to choose for a story. I hope your coursework goes well though, and try and avoid reading other people's work, as it will influence your own ideas whether you realise it or not

Yes I know but I just get the feeling thta he is older than Marisa. In the HDM books.

Marisa is just so passionately in the prime of life, where Lord Asriel has this whole mature, powerful air. Therefore she has to be younger than him.
