I just realised, we don't have one of these threads. We probably should.
Burnout 3, since Christmas. Good in concept, but made fairly lazily.

I got bored with Burnout 3 after I cleared it. About 3 weeks. The F1 races are incredibly annoying and hard.
At the moment I am on a GC buzz. I'm playing Metroid Prime 2, Paper Mario 2 and F-Zero GX.
I've been playing Counterstrike Source for months now, I shuld really be getting good at it now. *Contemplates playing through Half-life 2 for a 4th time*

Indeed. Especially the way they do a 180º turn at the slightest push of the stick.

...Still haven't completed it.
I'm playing through
Tomb Raider II again; it's imperishably good.

Dark Age of Camelot and World of Warcraft
both are PC MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Games)
I let my brother take the Playstation 2 to Uni with him as a Xmas present and bought him GTA San Andreas and Pro Evolution 4 - aren't I nice?

Finished Burnout. I could play Fable, but I don't want to, mainly because I despise the controls with a passion, the way you have to ram down to stick just to get him to a light walk is making the controller creak, and the run button works about 4% of the time.

Ogre Battle 4 I think it is...on my snes emulator. March of the Black Queen Best way I've found to kill two hours of an evening in a long time ^^ If I had access to my Gamecube or the PC at home I'd be playing Max Payne 2 or WWF X8/Rogue Leader/Sonic Spinball most likely. I miss my babies dammit <.<

I was actually trying to write it the way the husky voiced chap at the start of the game says it. Also the hype and also because it is quite a good game....but you people will realise this in time.

Call of DUty. Again. The coding on it is just the best i've seen on any game, bar HL2 of course... I just find it fun counting the amount of scripted sequences you can spot

I've just realised how poorly expressed my post was - I was just trying to elicit an evaluation of the game in relation to the hype, a continuation of the sentence.
Quite a good game?

Ah. I get confused easily. Probably no fault of yours. It's so far a very good game. The aiming takes a bit of getting used to but when you do it's a complete joy. It has made me jump a few times and the new speedy enemies keep you on edge.
Oh and 'tis a thing of beauty but that was already known.

I finally clocked the original Final Fight on the SNES the other day...a game so unforgivingly hard I eventually had to resort to cheating to do so on. Imagine my disappointment then when I fired up the sequel the next evening and blasted through it on my first try. Cranked it all the way up to Expert level to see if it made any difference yesterday-and to be fair it did. I only managed to make it to the penultimate boss on my first try this time <.<
Seriously why do most games pull the difficulty level down for their sequels??? I mean chances are the majority of people are only gonna buy them once they've beat the arse out the first one so it seems a rather odd idea to me o.O Perhaps it's just a cynical marketting trick to get people hooked on the first then keep feeding them fresh installments which take them all of five minutes to breeze through, thus encouraging them to buy more and more games. Damn you corrupt commercial world that we live in!!!!
