If you were in Lyra's world, would you rather be a daemon or a human? And if a daemon, what type of animal and what would your personality be?

Human definately but they are one in the same anyway.Two parts of one soul so I guess you would automatically be both.

I think if I had a daemon it would be....I've been thinking for ages but I don't know. hmmm.I will get back to you.

Both would suck. Being just a human or just a daemon is not good. But it is sort of like asking:

Would you rather like a car without wheels or one without axles? It'd be a crappy car either way.
But I'd like to be human, since humans get to eat and touch women. daemons are like a Watson. I'd rather be Sherlock Holmes.

When I said a daemon or a human, I ment being either the human or the daemon, not that you could only be one of them without the other.

Being a daemon would suck, not being able to make your own choices and go where you want. And you might end up something ~*pineapples*~ like a dung beatle..

Reminds me of an Indian doctor who, when I told him that his mobile with camera would be banned from many swimming baths, said "I do not want to capture naked bodies with my camera, I want to capture them with my h-a-a-a-a-a-nds".

That'd essentially mean no mobiles at all in swimming pools; it's next to impossible to get one without a camera these days. Not that I see why you need a mobile at the pool anyway.

I would have to be a daemon, just because i always wondered what it was like to be an animal. But being a daemon I could retain my personality.And of course there is also the upside off being able to change forms for a while.

Er..I'd probably be a human. Mainly because that's what I am, and what I'm used to.

I'd be a human, and I'd have a daemon. So my daemon would also be me. We'd be the same being.
