Has anyone else seen the new advert for Cadbury's Rosies?! It's got two women in it both of whom have what appear to be daemons! HDM inspired?

Hmm - daemons who encourage gluttony. I've never seen so many people eating Rosies.

Brit, my boy, Brit!

They wouldn't have Rosie's over there would they?! I thought waffles and maple syrup was more their thing

Besides if i was a yank I'd have said 'commercial'

There's also the dairy milk one with the man and the sheep, and the one with the woman and the big cat.

The animals are their Happiness.. "your Happiness loves Cadbury"

Those adverts frankly frighten me. Shame on you for associating them with HDM. *hides from scary talky leopard*

It's like they're trying to be both funny and poignant at the same time, and achieving neither...

anyways, pullman didn't invent daemons... so it's not necessarily an hdm-connection so much as a connection any belief/myth of such familiars.

Hmm, I thnk in this instance it was just a fairly ~*pineapples*~ idea that a team of marketing execs came up with in a 'brainstorming session' or whatever they call wanton idiocy these days.

Yeah, I think the whole concept of the advert is a bit silly really, it comes across as really awkward as well I think.

'Mind Showering' now. 'Brain Storming' is non-pc against epileptics (I kid you not. Our teachers are now banned from saying it).
