The shiny new edition is one of the things discussed in a recent interview with Pullman in the Telegraph, where he also talks about The Book of Dust.

“It is getting closer,” he said. “I think it might be in two volumes and I think one might take place in the time before His Dark Materials and the other might take place afterwards. There you are. That’s more than anybody else knows about it!”

    Eee, and the new edition is illustrated by the Horrible Histories illustrator! I love his drawings so very much, how perfect.
