No, I didn't know that. That's sort of a cool title. But I guess it sounds a bit strange if you don't know it's referring to photography- shhadow on the plate? like a plate for food? huh?

I still need to read the last two in the series. I don't know how the last one will be, not being about Sally, but I guess I'll probably read it anyway. I want to read the Ruby in the Smoke again now cos we're doing a lot of thigs that relate to it in history -the opium trade and the Sepoy Mutiny (I think that was in the book) and all that stuff. Too bad I have no time to read now... :(

Not exactly "no time," but I have a lot of school work now. All my teachers are trying to cram in as much material as possible before spring break, plus I've had to do a lot of work for my term paper for English, I have to give a speech in front of my entire school on Friday, and I have to study for the ap history test. I still have a little time, just not as much as I'd like. Usually I try to read one book every week, but the last one I read took me two weeks. :( It was kinda longer than average, though.

Lucky. I haven't finished a book outside of school since.......HDM, in fact.

Wow, when did you read HDM? I can't imagine really not reading - school stuff doesn't count cos we never read anything good, plus the fun is greatly diminished when you have to analyze every other word and annotate it and all that. It's hard to fond time, though. Usually I read on the weekend, and then sometimes in the morning before school if I have extra time. Also on the way to school and on the way home - that gives me a full combined 20 minutes there. On Friday, though, I just came home and read the last hundred pages of my book. It took a long time that I'm sure I should've spent doing something else, but it was nice cos I don't get to do that much anymore.

Whatever it is, I think Lyra's better than Sally Lockhart. I don't know why, just don't like her as much. But I'm still going to read the Tin Princess, though.

SORRY TO INTERUPT BUT I GUESS THIS IS WHERE I AM SUPPOSED TO POST EVERYTHING RELATED TO SALLY LOCKHEART, EVEN IF ITS ABOUT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CONVERSATION.

SORRY ABOUT THE ALL CAPS THING. MY KEYBOARD IS CHEAP... AND SOMETIMES DOES THIS FOR DAYS ON END, SOMETIMES FOR ONLY A FEW MINUTES. I LOSE A LOT OF FRIENDS WITH THIS KEYBOARD. :(

ANYWAY, I READ THE SALLY LOCKHEART BOOKS BUT I AM NOT SURE WHICH ONES. I REMEMBER A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE BOOKS. I KNOW I READ THE FIRST ONE, NOT SURE ABOUT THE SECOND ONE, DEFINATELY DID NOT READ THE THIRD ONE.

NOW I REMEMBER THE ENDING TO THE LAST BOOK I READ WAS THAT THE PHOTO-STUDIO BURNT DOWN AND THE GUY THAT SALLY LIKE DIED IN THE FIRE. CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHICH OF THE THREE BOOKS THAT WAS :?:

THANK YOU!

And I do hope your keyboard won't stay like that for long...
